About the Role

We are currently supporting a leading financial institution in Dubai in the appointment of a Senior Manager – Finance.

The successful candidate will oversee key areas of the Finance function and contribute to the effective management of financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, treasury and financial controls within a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Oversee the treasury function and monthly cash flow forecasting.
• Manage fixed deposit placements and related treasury activities.
• Oversee financial accounting and the maintenance of accurate financial records.
• Manage financial reporting and management reporting requirements.
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
• Oversee payroll-related Finance activities.
• Monitor Finance-related ERP systems and processes.
• Prepare and review financial reports for senior management.
• Support the effective operation and continuous improvement of the Finance function.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
• Financial qualification such as CFA, CPA, CA or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in Finance.
• Strong background in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting and financial control.
• Experience within financial services, banking or a regulated environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Previous experience managing or supervising Finance teams.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
