We are recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team based in Swanscombe, Kent. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of air conditioning systems, with a primary focus on domestic installations. The role encompasses the complete lifecycle of AC systems—from initial installation and commissioning through to ongoing servicing and repair. You will diagnose system faults, implement effective solutions, and ensure all work meets rigorous health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out air conditioning installations, primarily on domestic systems
- Commission newly installed air conditioning systems and verify correct operation
- Service and repair existing AC units to maintain optimal performance
- Diagnose system faults accurately and provide effective, timely solutions
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in full compliance with health and safety regulations
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who bring strong technical expertise in air conditioning installation, commissioning, and servicing. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should demonstrate reliability, professional conduct, and a genuine interest in developing your skills within the HVAC sector.
Experience & Expertise Required:
- Strong technical knowledge in installation, commissioning, and servicing of air conditioning systems
- F-Gas certification (required)
- Relevant NVQ or equivalent qualification in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
