About the job

Maison Pierre Marcolini is a Belgian gastronomy house renowned for creating, producing, and distributing luxury chocolates, pastries, confectionery, and ice cream. Recognized internationally for our expertise and brand image, we lead the premium chocolate market with distinction.

As part of our global expansion and ambition to grow our commercial network, we are looking for a passionate and dynamic Team Leader to join our team. This role is key to supporting the Store Manager in the daily operations of the boutique, leading the team, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Daily Operations: Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the daily activities of the boutique, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with company policies.

Team Leadership & Staff Development: Supervise, motivate, and support the sales team on a daily basis. Train and coach team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, storytelling, and customer service standards to help achieve the boutique's objectives.

Sales Performance: Lead by example on the shop floor, actively sell products, contribute to achieving sales targets, and encourage the team to deliver strong commercial results.

Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service, address customer inquiries, and resolve issues to ensure an outstanding luxury experience.

Planning & Inventory Support: Assist the Store Manager with staff scheduling, stock management, product orders, inventory monitoring, and replenishment to ensure optimal product availability.

Maintain Store Presentation: Ensure the boutique's presentation, product displays, and merchandising reflect the brand's high standards.

Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Ensure the boutique remains clean, organized, and safe for both staff and customers.

Required Skills and Profile:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in luxury retail or gastronomy).
  • Previous experience supervising or coaching a team.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.
  • Strong client-service orientation and the ability to create an exceptional customer experience.
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, and team-oriented.
  • Organized, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Fluent in English and German (B2/C1 level required).
  • Passion for chocolate, pastry, and sales.
  • Preferred education: Higher Education Certificate (or equivalent).
